TX - Provides various transmit options.

Send Characters Group:

Immediately - Ensures that text is sent immediately it has been typed. Unless your keyboard skills are reasonable, you may have difficulty keeping ahead.

If followed by a space - Transmits the text as each word is completed and you prepare for the next.

If followed by a linefeed - Transmits the text as each sentence is completed.

Other Group:

Clear Sent Text when switching back to RX - Text that has been transmitted is cleared from the Tx window when you switch back to receive.

Allow backspace over sent text: - Allows you to backspace over sent text to correct errors.

Always append new text if in Tx mode - It is possible to compose all your transmission text before hitting the transmit button. This option will Enable/Disable the adding of new text during the transmission.

Transmit Delay - This slider provides an adjustment to allow for delays in transmit/receive switching time from 200 milliseconds to 2000 milliseconds. It should be set to a period in excess of the time it takes to switch the transceiver to ensure that no characters are transmitted before the transceiver has had time to respond to the transmit command.
