This image is the main Mapper program screen display with the BlueMarble high definition map that is available for download. It is also included on the CD Image downloads.

Mapper is an amateur radio mapping program. It is capable of displaying, printing (and saving) customisable maps of up to 10 x 10 sheets of paper. Its main function is the capture and display of Maidenhead locator information from PSK31 Deluxe but it can be used on a somewhat manual basis as a stand-alone program.

Plotted images can be saved as a bitmap.

Various Zoom rates and Aspect Ratios are available to customise the map for your particular monitor.

There are up to 5 different Schemes that you can set up and select for your own particular requirements. You can use a different map for each scheme if you want.

You can toggle the display of Cities, Names or Prefixes on the maps. Both Great Circle or Standard maps are available with customiseable map centre location. A full range of Zooms and Aspect Ratios is provided.

Sunlight Curve, Maidenhead Locators can be toggled.

Beam heading and distance can also be displayed, and for the QRP operators there is also a 'miles per watt' calculator. Just place your mouse pointer on the relevant spot on the map and read off the MPW.
