The Favourites Manager window for managing the favourites frequency database.

The display is Windows Explorer like. The folder icons indicate what are known as Root Folders and in this image, the first 8 folders are root folders covering from 160m through to 6m. Note that in the 6m folder there are 2 frequency entries and also a folder (highlighted) holding 6m Beacon frequencies. The layout is entirely up to you but it should really have some structure so that you can remember what frequency is stored where in case you need to change it.

The checkboxes to the left of the folders and frequencies either enable or disable the display in the Selection window.

New Root Button - Creates a new Root Folder in which to store your favourite frequencies. Give it a name relative to the frequencies to be stored.

New Folder Button - Same function as New Root above but creates a folder within a root folder.
Sort Folder Button - Enables sorting the contents of a selected folder with choices of By title, By ascending order or By descending order.

Copy Button - The easiest way to create a new favourite frequency is to click on an existing one and then click the Copy button. You can then click and drag the copy to the required destination folder where you can Edit it.
Edit Button -You can select an existing frequency entry and then click the Edit button or just double click on an existing frequency entry and the Edit window will pop up. Enter a title for the entry, the frequency itself, select the mode. The Repeater enable option may depend on whether you use HRD for transmit switching or not - I'm not sure at this stage.
Up Arrow Button - Moves a selected frequency, or folder, Up in the list.

Del Button - Deletes the currently selected frequency or folder.

Move Button - Brings up a widow showing selectable locations where you can move the selected frequency or folder.

Down Arrow Button - Moves a selected frequency, or folder, Down in the list.
Load Button - Accesses the load of an alternative file of favourite frequencies. If you haven't saved any changes you may have made in the existing file, they will be lost. There is a warning to this effect.
Merge Button - Merges the contents of another favourite file into the file currently in use.
Defaults Button - Accesses the loading default frequencies with a similar window to the Load button. If you haven't saved any changes you may have made in the existing file, they will be lost. There is a warning to this effect.

Save Button - Used to save your frequencies to file.
